All aboard!
We are so pleased to be working with London Transport Museum for their Heritage train journeys: Summer Special event on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July.
Visitors to the event got the chance to ride on London Transport Museum’s beautifully restored, Art Deco style 1938 Tube Stock train.
We provided a costumed actor playing Charles Holden, an architect who designed some of London most iconic London Underground stations.

We are pleased to announce that Zoom Through History has been chosen to be the supplier for the new online school sessions at Historic Royal Palaces.
Zoom Through History has also been chosen to write and pilot three brand new workshops to be delivered online.

We provided characters from throughout the history of gardening and plant science.
Audiences met with John Ystumllyn, Elizabeth Blackwell, Thomas Smith (the apprentice) & Mary Seacole
160th Anniversary of the London Underground
London Transport Museum and Transport for London
Happy 160th birthday to the London Underground this year Transport for London.
Audiences met with Frederick Cornez from the year 1863 from when the Metropolitan Railway opened in London.
They also met with Mary Smith from 1890 when the world’s first deep level electric underground train was opened in London.

The year of the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation.
Here's our Grenadier Guard on the platform at Acton Central as he prepares to be apart of history.
We are so thrilled to have collaborated with the London Transport Museum on this exciting three day Coronation event.
Visitors got the opportunity to talk with our actor at the depot station at Acton Central .They had a ride on 1938 tube train from Acton Town to Uxbridge Station and immersed themselves in the coronation celebrations of 53!

We had ROARsome time at the Natural History Museum on the 23rd April 2023.
Zoom Through History provided two actors to take a tour back in time to Cretaceous Period for an adventure around the Dino Gallery.
We also provided a storyteller who read the brilliant book ‘’ Titanosaur: Life as the Biggest Dinosaur”.

What an amazing morning we had swimming around The Natural History Museum.
We dived head first into the museums ocean world and learned all about the world’s five oceans and the animals that live within them- including the mighty blue whale!
Zoom Through History provided an interactive tour and two actors to take audiences on an adventure around the Mammals (blue whale) and Marine Invertebrates Gallery.
This is our third year working with the amazing Membership team at the Natural History Museum and we can’t wait to be back next year as well!

Meet Bert and Eliza our East End husband and wife duo. Listen to their stories of life on the London Victorian docks and hear how Eliza’s involvement in the Match Girl strike of 1888 inspired Bert to back the Dockers Strike of 1889.

Join us on the 8th June to travel back in time to 1944 for a secret planning exercise with USAAF Officer 1st Lieutenant Cooper at Kingston Museum; a stones throw from where D-Day was planned and where General Eisenhower lived!

We’ve had an amazing morning at The Natural History Museum celebrating amazing female scientists throughout history.
Zoom Through History provided, actors and a storyteller to perform at the Natural History Museum for their Members Family Morning: Women and Girls in Science.
Mary and Joseph Anning traveled through time to meet with three amazing women. Isabella Gordon, Mary Ann Mantell and Mary Somerville!
We also provided a storyteller who created a story based on the life of Doretha Bate!

The school met with Bert and Eliza who live near and work on the Docks in 1900.

Mary Anning's birthday celebrations and book launch
Lyme Regis Museum
It was such an honour to be invited to the Lyme Regis Museum to celebrate Mary’s 224th birthday.
Our actor delivered four interactive tours of the museum, which stands on the foundations on the home that Mary once knew.
Also taking place was the book launch for “She Sold Seashells ...and dragons: The curious Mary Anning. Re-imagined'' by Wolfgang Grulke.

In October 2021 & 2022 we provided an actor to play King Henry V at an amazing event in London.
Huge congratulations to Beyond Curated for creating such a wonderful night.
Our actor delighted guests with rousing speeches from King Henry V and mingled the night away with tales from the Battle of Agincourt. The location for this event was at the beautiful medieval church of Great Barts.

We had the most amazing October half term at the RAF Museum London.
Young detectives to the RAF Museum London explored the clues and helped Agent K and Agent M find the spy.

Chelsea History Festival
Visitors to the Chelsea History Festival this year may have taken a walk down History Street and met with a pioneer in medicine; Mary Seacole.
They may have also met with another trailblazer in STEM; Elizabeth Garret Anderson.

A night at the British Museum!
On Saturday night Zoom Through History took brave explorers on a Viking and Saxon Longship Adventure!
Participants of all ages met our Viking and Saxon explorers and helped them create a longship in the heart of the British Museum.
With exclusive access to the gallery we explored real Viking and Saxon objects, learnt 9th century languages, enlisted a longship crew and set sail to find Vinland!

We are thrilled to have been invited by Cadw to perform in one of Wales' most famous and well known castles.
Visitors to the castles met with Joanna (our medieval character) and learned all about her important role here at the castle.

We are so excited to be working with Cadw across Wales this Summer.
Whilst our team in South Wales are working very hard and going into their second week, our team in North Wales have just began their adventure!

Sarah Darwin will be reading from her new children’s book Evolution, and we are delighted to be providing an actor to play her great great grandfather for this exciting event- “Exploring Evolution”.

We had an amazing festive evening at The Natural History Museum for their Members Evening ;Festive Fun!We provided scripts, two characters and a facilitator for this event.
Our actors lead tours around the Dino Gallery, sent on a secret mission from Santa Claus himself, our explorers with the help of our audience followed the clues and saved Christmas at the museum!
